The Daedalus Boots are special boots made from a cross between Terran and Numenorian Tech. The boots were designed as an orbital drop device when falling towards the surface of any planet. When activated, the boots emit an anti-gravity field which slows down the user as they drop to the ground. If desired, the field will emit a concussion blast which will incapacitate (or kill if at point blank range) anyone within 8 ft. of the user.
